In this scenario, the user may obtain duplicate calendar items for the updated instance on the mobile device, and these duplicate calendar items cause conflicts and are confusing to the user. Note By default, the Direct Push feature is enabled on a Windows Mobile 5.0 device that has the Messaging and Security Feature Pack (MSFP) installed or on a Windows Mobile 6.x device (Windows Mobile 6.x devices do not use the Messaging and Security Feature Pack). CAUSEExchange
ActiveSync offers Direct Push technology. Direct Push uses an encrypted HTTPS
connection that is established and maintained between the device and the server
to push new e-mail messages and other Exchange data to the device. During the
response processing of a recurring
meeting request, a wrong meeting ID is used that causes unwanted
duplication. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 8 for
