SYMPTOMS

In a Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0-based application, you use the System.Data.DataTable.InsertRow method or any other overload method to insert rows into a table. If the number of the inserted rows exceeds the value of the Int32.MaxValue field, a System.OverflowException exception occurs, and you receive the following error message:
Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix Replacement Information

The hotfix that corresponds to KB967114 has been superseded with the hotfix KB971654, which contains all fixes that were previously included in KB967114. You should use the hotfix KB971654 to fix the issues described in KB967114.  For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
