Headers and footers have an inconsistent behavior when you display a list that is grouped with SharePoint Designer 2007 on Windows SharePoint Services 3.0Article ID: 967735 - View products that this article applies to. SYMPTOMSIn a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site, groups may be collapsed or expanded. The footers of the groups have the option to
display column totals per group. However, "totals per group"
should be displayed only when the group is expanded. There is an inconsistent behavior when you display a list that is grouped with SharePoint Designer 2007 for the first time on Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. You can see the "totals per group" the very first time that the list (grouped and collapsed) is displayed. When you expand the group, the headers and footers are displayed. This includes the "totals per group," which appears in the footer. When you re-collapse the group, there are no longer any headers or footers. WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, press F5 to refresh the page
after you collapse the group. Headers or footers are displayed again. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue install the hotfix package that is
