After you install the update binaries, the update tries to start Microsoft Office Communications Server front-end services. If a Microsoft Office Communications Server front-end service cannot be started, the update is rolled back. Please make sure that the following services are running before you try to install the update:

Removal informationTo uninstall this update package, use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel.Note When you uninstall this update package, Communications Server Monitoring Agent (RTCQmsAgent) is stopped but is not restarted. You must manually restart Communications Server Monitoring Agent (RTCQmsAgent) after you uninstall this update package. Sometimes, when you try to uninstall this update package, you are prompted for the source CD. If this behavior occurs, insert the source CD, or provide the path of the source files.
