SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Intelligent Application Gateway (IAG) 2007 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) Update 4, you use the default IAG template to publish Microsoft Exchange 2003 Outlook Web Access (OWA). However, when a user tries to add an attachment to an e-mail message by using OWA, the operation fails. Additionally, the user receives an error message.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of a change that IAG 2007 SP1 Update 4 introduces for the client-side Java scripts. This change causes the endpoint policies to reject attachments.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install Update 1 for IAG 2007 Service Pack 2 (SP2).
