SYMPTOMSIn
an Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) environment, when you change the location field of a
recurring calendar item to empty, the location field is set to the default
value of the recurring series if this recurring item is synchronized on a Windows
Mobile device. Note This issue does not occur in Outlook or in Outlook Web Access (OWA). CAUSEThis issue occurs because Exchange ActiveSync does not
support an empty location field for calendar items. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 9 for
