SYMPTOMS

On a Windows Server 2003-based computer that has SMTP service installed, you configure the message delivery for domains. However, some messages are moved incorrectly to the "Badmail" folder instead of being delivered.

CAUSE

During message processing, the SMTP service checks the P2 headers on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003. If there are multiple lines for a P2 header, the wrong logic is used to check the line separator.
