FIX: SQL Server Integration Services Import and Export Wizard does not provide the ConnectionString property for the .NET Framework Data Provider for ODBCArticle ID: 968615 - View products that this article applies to. Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2008 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2008 fix release. However, the only options available in the user interface are Dsn and Driver. There is no way to enter the user ID and the password.
Note This issue also occurs in SQL Server 2005 Integration Services Service Pack 3 and in later versions of SQL Server 2005 Integration Services. In SQL Server 2005 versions that are earlier than Service Pack 3, there is a ConnectionString property in which you can enter the user ID and the password.
