SYMPTOMS

You apply the 2007 Microsoft Office suite Service Pack 2 to your computer. When you move one of the default drawing guides on a slide of a Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 document, the drawing guide becomes invisible. If the slide is redrawn, the guides become visible again. For example, you visit the next slide, and then you go back to previous slide. In this case, the guides are visible again.

Note If there are multiple horizontal and vertical guides, they will not disappear when you move them. To create a new guide, press the CTRL key, and drag an existing guide.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
