Response Group Service cannot start if you assign a certificate that has a wildcard in the Subject Name to Communications Server 2007 R2

SYMPTOMS

If the certificate that is assigned to the Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 server or to the Communications Server 2007 R2 Web Components server contains a wildcard in the subject name, the Response Group Service cannot start.

To resolve this problem, apply the following updates:
