SYMPTOMS

When you configure the Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 SIP Proxy to listen on a port other than the default SIP TLS port (5061), SIP connections cannot be initiated by Response Group Server or Conference Auto Attendant.

CAUSE

Response Group Server and Conference Auto Attendant are not honoring the nondefault port assignment. Therefore, they cannot make outgoing connections by using the server.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, configure the Communications Server SIP Proxy to use the default listening port (5061).

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, apply the following update:
