You are in a Microsoft Host Integration Server 2006 environment. You use Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for DB2 to process an Updategram message against an IBM DB2 database. You receive the following error message:
Additionally, the following event is logged in the Application log:
The parameter value for parameter Number could not be converted to a native data type.
This issue is most likely to occur when many Updategram messages that have different parameter lists are processed.
Event ID: 5743
Event Source: BizTalk Server 2006
Description: The adapter failed to transmit message going to send port "Send Port Name" with URL "HostFiles:URL." It will be retransmitted after the retry interval specified for this Send Port.
This issue occurs because BizTalk Adapter for DB2 does not reinitialize new SqlStatement objects that have new parameter information. Therefore, incorrect MsDb2Types are sent for the parameter list when BizTalk Adapter is operating under load.
