Users who have special characters in their names cannot sign in to the Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Dial-in Conferencing Settings page.

Note Examples of special characters include the ampersand character (&) and the slash mark character (/).

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, apply the following update:
  • 967836  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/967836/ ) Description of the update package for Communications Server 2007 R2, Communicator Web Access: April 2009
After you install this update, users who have special characters in their names can sign in successfully.
