FIX: Error message when you run the DBCC CHECKDB statement on a database in SQL Server 2005: "Unable to deallocate a kept page"

In Microsoft SQL Server 2005, when you run the DBCC CHECKDB statement on a database, you receive the following error message:Note This issue does not occur in SQL Server 2008.

This problem occurs because the SQL Server database engine creates a snapshot for a database when you run the DBCC CHECKDB statement on thedatabase. An error occurs when the SQL Server database engine cleans up the snapshot after the check.

This hotfix contains only those files that are required to correct the issues that this article lists.
