Cause
Accelerator and Web Slice preview windows will show the “Internet Explorer cannot display the web page” error if you have Google Gears installed. This is a known issue in Internet Explorer 8. Google Gears installs a browser helper object add-on to Internet Explorer. To verify if you have this add-on, follow these steps:
