A compatibility problem exists between Weather Channel Toolbar and Internet Explorer 8

Your version of the Weather Channel Toolbar Internet Explorer add-on is incompatible with Internet Explorer 8. To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods.

Method 1: Update your software

Download the new version of the add-on that will work with Internet Explorer 8. To do this, visit the following Web site:

Method 2: Disable the add-on

To do this, follow these steps:

1. Close all Internet Explorer windows.
2. Open a new Internet Explorer window.
3. When you see the message that states that the "Weather Channel Toolbar add-on can cause Internet Explorer to crash or to stop responding," Click Always open Internet Explorer without this add-on. The add-on will not be loaded again, and Internet Explorer 8 will work without any issues.

When you click Always open Internet Explorer without this add-on, the add-on is disabled and is not loaded when you start Internet Explorer.
