Content deployment job fails with the error - "Content deployment job failed. The remote upload web request failed.”

The Content deployment job fails with the error -  "Content deployment job failed. The remote upload web request failed" in the following two scenarios.



Scenario 1
If a source document library contain file of size greater than 98 MB.



Scenario 2
If source document library contains a more than one file, and one of those is 93 MB or larger.

This is expected behavior.

Sharepoint uses the HTTP POST to upload the files. ASP.NET has a limit that controls the max size of files that can be uploaded using HTTP POST: See the more info section of this KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323245 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323245)
