INTRODUCTION

This hotfix fixes the following issues:
  • When you try to update custom moniker links in PowerPoint 2007, the links are invalid. Additionally, you may receive the following error message:
Some linked files were unavailable and can't be updated. Try to restore the links by clicking the Microsoft Office Button, pointing to Prepare, and then clicking Edit Links to Files.
  • You set the formatting of a shape as the default in PowerPoint 2003. When you try to edit the presentation in PowerPoint 2007, the default formatting is applied to bitmap pictures and objects that are pasted from the clipboard.
  • You embed a Microsoft Office Excel worksheet object in a PowerPoint 2007 presentation. If you double-click the object to edit it, the size of the object changes.
  • When you use a COM add-in, actions that are completed through Automation are not undoable as individual actions. Instead, all actions that are completed by the add-in are undone when you try to undo the last action.
