Article ID: 969969 - Last Review: July 28, 2009 - Revision: 2.1 Error message when an Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 user tries to delete a calendar item in OWA: "Outlook Web Access has encountered a Web browsing error"
SYMPTOMSIn
a Microsoft
Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) environment,
a user tries to delete a calendar item in
Outlook Web Access (OWA). An
error message pops up that resembles the following: Outlook Web Access has encountered a Web browsing error. Exception Details Message: <sendC> is undefined Url: <url to the calendar item> Line: 27 Call Stack ---------- cnclM() onWL() tryWLd() chkScrpts() window.onload() CAUSEThis issue occurs because this calendar item was created by
a Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) application. When this issue occurs, CDO
sets the property of the calendar item.
However, Exchange Server 2007 SP1 processes
the calendar item by
using the wrong logic. Note This issue does not occur in Exchange Server 2003. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, install Update Rollup 9 for
Exchange 2007 Service Pack 1. For more information about Update Rollup 9 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1, see the following Exchange Help topic: Description of Update Rollup 9 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1
