A draft version of content that was written in a content editor Web Part is unexpectedly published on the destination site after content is deployed in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0

In Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, you use a content editor Web Part to add some text to a draft version of content that you plan to deploy to a published portal. However, after the content is deployed, you find that the draft version was unexpectedly published as a major version on the destination site. Therefore, anonymous users can see the draft version.

Limitation

This hotfix package does not fix existing sites that are already broken. To resolve the problem in this situation, delete the content editor Web Part on the destination sites, and then force another content deployment.
