Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 2008 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 2008 fix release.
Consider the following scenario. In Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services, you use Business Intelligence Development Studio to create a report. The report uses a SAP NetWeaver Business Intelligence (SAP BI) data source. You specify Spanish (language = ES) in the connection properties of the SAP BI data source. In this scenario, you receive the following error message when you open the query designer:
However, if you specify English (language = EN) in connection properties of the SAP BI data source, you can open the query designer successfully.
