SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Visual Studio Team System 2008 Database Edition GDR, the ALTER ANY DATABASE AUDIT and the ALTER ANY SERVER AUDIT permissions are missing from the schema model list. For example, you perform the following actions:
  • You create an SQL script file to add a user and grant the ALTER ANY DATABASE AUDIT permission to the user.
  • You right-click a database project and select Import Script item in the Solution Explorer.
  • In the Import SQL Script File wizard, you select both the Import permissions check box and the Add imported permissions to the project model check box.
  • When the import operation is complete, you click the Finish button.
In this example, you notice that the ALTER ANY DATABASE AUDIT permission is not added in the Database.sqlpermissions file as expected.
