INTRODUCTION

This hotfix fixes the following issues:
  • An Excel OLE object in PowerPoint 2007 cannot be started when you open the object from a SharePoint document library.
  • In PowerPoint 2007, the macro code ActivePresentation.PageSetup.SlideSize does not always work in setting the page size. It works when the slide size is one of the following before you run the macro code:
    • ppSlideSizeLetterPaper
    • ppSlideSizeOnScreen
    • ppSlideSizeOverhead
It does not work if the slide size is one of the following before you run the macro code:
    • ppSlideSize35MM
    • ppSlideSizeA3Paper
    • ppSlideSizeB4ISOPaper
    • ppSlideSizeB5JISPaper
    • ppSlideSizeBanner
    • ppSlideSizeCustom
    • ppSlideSizeLedgerPaper
    • ppSlideSizeOnScreen16x10
    • ppSlideSizeOnScreen16x9

  • Bookmark references at the end of a hyperlink in a PowerPoint 2007 presentation are not saved when you save the presentation as a .pptx file. The reference is saved if you save the PowerPoint 2007 presentation as a .ppt file.
  • If you open a presentation in Slide Show mode either from the shell or from the command line, linked images do not show.
  • You enable the Snap objects to grid option in the Grid and Guides dialog box. However, objects do not snap to the grid if the ruler is set in centimeters.
  • You add an OLE object as a link to a PowerPoint 2007 presentation. You close and then re-open the presentation, and update the link. On the second update, you receive the following error message:

Some linked files were unavailable and can’t be updated. Try to restore the links by clicking the Microsoft Office Button, pointing to Prepare, and then clicking Edit links to Files.
