SYMPTOMS

You try to obtain a hotfix for Microsoft Office Outlook 2002 with Office Communications Server 2007 conferencing add-in. However, it is not available. The Office Communications Server 2007 Supportability Guide states that the conferencing add-in is supported on Outlook 2002.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because Outlook 2002 is outside mainstream support.

RESOLUTION

To obtain a hotfix for Outlook 2002 that is unrelated to security, you must have an Extended Hotfix Support Agreement.
