When you do this, the API consumes all search handles on the server and then throws an "ERROR_NO_MORE_SEARCH_HANDLES" error. Additionally, if you added the File Directory Searches counter under the Server object in the performance monitor on the server, the counter reaches an unusually high number. For example, the counter reaches 2048 or more. CAUSEThis problem occurs because the protocol stack in the FindFirstFile API in Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R2 does not issue a close request packet to the server when the server shares an empty folder.
