This article
describes the Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 issue that is fixed in the
Project Server 2007 hotfix package that is dated July 15,
2009.

The issues that the hotfix package fixes.
The prerequisites for installing the hotfix

Whether you must restart the computer after you install
the hotfix package.
Whether the hotfix package is replaced by any other
hotfix packages.
The Tracking Method setting on the Task Settings
and Displaypage
is not applied to proposals or to converted
proposals.
In Resource Usage view, the total work for summary
resource assignments under the Other Projects and
Commitments sections is wrong.
If a resource is the assignment owner for multiple
assignments that have complex actual work contours, the save operation is never
completed when
you enter multiple values for the actual work on the My Tasks page and then
click Save All. Additionally, you receive the following error
message:
An unexpected error has occurred.

You cannot publish project plans on a Turkish Project Web
Access (PWA) site after you install hotfix 960313.
You experience
Narrator navigation issues on the PWA home page and on the My Timesheets
page.
A rejected status update that changes the start date or the
finish date of an assignment does not display the original start date or the
original finish date.
When you try to upgrade Project Server 2007 Service Pack 1
to Project Server 2007 Service Pack 2, the upgrade fails.
Additionally, the following error message is logged in the Upgrade.log
file:
Cannot find the object
'MSP_SRA_ValidateServerLevelSRA', because it does not exist or you do not have
permission.
The MSP_WEB_SP_QRY_ReadStatusApprovalHistory stored procedure takes a long time in some cases.
When
you visit drill-down pages such as the Assignment Details page
in PWA, Narrator cannot handle many of the features on these
pages.
In Project Professional 2007, the values for actual work
differ from the values that are submitted by resources after you accept
updates for assignments. These incorrect values are displayed on the My Tasks
page if you save and publish the project after the data is changed by accepting
the updates for assignments.
If graphical indicators of the cost, number, or
duration type contain a decimal, formula evaluation does not work.
A
supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended
to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this
hotfix only to systems that are experiencing the problem described in this
article. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are
not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next
software update that contains this hotfix.

registry.

This hotfix may not
contain all the files that you must have to fully update a product to the
latest build. This hotfix contains only the files that you must have to correct
the issue that is listed in this article.

Global version of this hotfix package uses a Microsoft Windows Installer
package to install the hotfix package. The dates and the times for these files
are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) in the following table. When you
view the file information, the date is converted to local time. To find the
difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab
in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
