If a delegate sends a meeting request on behalf of the manager by using Outlook 2000, the organizer of the meeting is changed to the delegate unexpectedly after an attendee accepts the meeting by using Outlook 2007

Consider the following scenario:

• A delegate sends a meeting request to attendees on behalf of the manager in Microsoft Outlook 2000.
• An attendee accepts the meeting request in Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.

In this scenario, the organizer of the meeting is changed to the delegate unexpectedly.

2. Set the value of the
   SkipSentRepresenting
   registry entry to enable the hotfix package. To do this, follow these steps:
   1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
   2. Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Outlook\Options\Calendar
   3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
   4. Type SkipSentRepresenting, and then press ENTER.
   5. Right-click
      SkipSentRepresenting
      , and then click Modify.
   6. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.
   7. Exit Registry Editor.
