On This PageSYMPTOMSAfter you uninstall a Microsoft BizTalk RFID hotfix in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2, the BizTalk RFID service stops generating management events. Therefore, consumers of these events, such as the RFID Tray utility, no longer receive these events. CAUSEThe BizTalk RFID service generates management events by using Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI). The problem that is described in the "Symptoms" section occurs because the WMI namespace is registered incorrectly after you uninstall a BizTalk RFID hotfix. RESOLUTIONA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft to resolve this problem. We strongly recommend that you apply this hotfix before you install any other BizTalk RFID hotfixes. You can also apply this hotfix to systems that are currently experiencing this problem. Note This hotfix does not update any files. It changes the behavior of BizTalk RFID hotfixes to prevent this problem from occurring. Hotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft.
