FIX: SWIFT messages that contain an invalid 19A field may not be validated as expected when you use BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message PackArticle ID: 973242 - View products that this article applies to. On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you use Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT (A4SWIFT) together with Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack to process SWIFT messages, Business Rule Engine validation does not work as expected on the 19A field. Therefore, SWIFT messages that contain the problematic 19A field may not be validated correctly. There are two kinds of errors in the 19A field that cannot be detected as expected:
Example 1 Example 2 The amount subfield of the 19A field should not exceed the maximum length of 15, and the 19A field can have one or no negative signs. The following two examples are valid 19A fields: CAUSEThis problem occurs because of an error in the BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2008 Message Pack. This error causes a problem in validating the 19A fields of SWIFT messages correctly. RESOLUTIONApply this hotfix to address the problem. For detailed steps, follow the instructions in the ReadMe.txt file that is contained in the hotfix package. Hotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft.
