SYMPTOMSAs
a Microsoft
Exchange Server 2007 user,
you
submit a message by using an IMAP4 client together
with the APPEND command.
However, the message delivery time is stamped with the
current date and time instead of the date and time that was passed to
the APPEND command. CAUSEThis
issue occurs because the Exchange Server
2007 server sets
the PR_IMAP_INTERNAL_DATE property to the time that is
passed to
the APPEND command. However,
Microsoft Office Outlook clients and Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) use the PR_MESSAGE_DELIVERY_TIME property to show the messages. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue,
install the following update rollup: 971534

)
Description of Update Rollup 1 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 2
STATUSMicrosoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
in the "Applies to" section. MORE INFORMATIONFor more information about IMAP4, visit the following Web
