When you click Submit All to submit more
than 100 updated tasks, you receive the following error message on the
My Task page:
Your updates were not saved because of the
following reasons: General error: An invalid value was passed to Project
Server (Use this error information along with other errors to find out the
cause of the problem.)
You install the update that is described in Microsoft
Knowledge
Base (KB) article 968271. When you create a site in
Project Server 2007 that has the
Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI) installed, a
second timer job
is created in the native language and the site provisioning fails.
The Total field at the bottom of Timesheet view is incorrect because overtime work values are doubled.
In the Project Server 2007 reporting database, the MSP_EpmAssignment.AssignmentActualWork table shows 0 for inactive resources.
In Project Web Access (PWA), when you create a timesheet period
that is
1
day , the background color of the Day field in the
timesheet is dark gray.
Dark gray specifies a nonworking period.
After you set the
PWA site regional setting to a
language such as English (New
Zealand), the value in an
enterprise project date,
cost, or number custom field does
not pass the validation. Therefore,
when
you save a
proposal or
an activity project that has such
a custom field, you receive the following error
message:
Invalid value specified for a custom field. Please correct
the values and try saving again.
Additionally, after you set the PWA site regional setting to English (Australia), the value in an enterprise project date custom field does not pass the validation. Therefore, when you save a proposal or an activity project that has such a custom field, you receive the following error message:
The value for the custom field is not a valid date, or it is outside the range for dates, which is January 1, 1984 through December 31, 2049.
The time-phased actual work is
incorrect after you submit the actual working
hours during nonworking time in PWA for an assignment that
starts on a nonworking day.
Publishing causes locking failures on the
MSP_ASSIGNMENT_TRANSACTIONS table when publishing is 30 percent completed.
Active
Directory sync fails in Project Server 2007. This causes all users to be locked
out of Enterprise Project Management (EPM). Additionally, users
receive
the following error message:
Catastrophic
failure
When you assign cost resources and work resources or
assign material resources and work resources to the
same task in Project 2007, the
reporting publishing job takes a long time.
Consider the following scenario. You install 2007 Microsoft
Office servers Service Pack 2 on a computer that has Project Server 2007
installed. After you create and then save a timesheet, you create a new project that
contains a task. The working period of the task is part of the timesheet's
period. Then you publish the project. In this scenario, when you click
Next or Previous to move to the timesheet,
you receive the following error message:
An unexpected error has occurred. Web Parts
Maintenance Page: If you have permission, you can use this page to temporarily
close Web Parts or remove personal settings. For more information, contact your
site administrator.
When you visit drill-down pages such as the
Assignment Details page in PWA, Narrator cannot handle or
correctly report many of the features on these
pages.
Note Before you apply the hotfix that is described in this article,
delete temporary Internet files in Internet Explorer.
