INTRODUCTION

The following Windows Media related products or components are no longer supported on Windows 2000:
  • Windows Media Player 7.1 series. This includes Windows Media Player and Windows Media Format 7.1 SDK
  • Windows Media Format 9 SDK without update 891122
  • DirectShow 8.1
The following Windows Media related product is no longer supported on Windows NT 4.0:
  • Windows Media Format 7.1 SDK
