Unable to create workitemstore see exceptions for more details. After you receive the error message, the Team System Web Access interface functions incorrectly. Then, additional user requests are redirected to the logon page, and you receive the same error message. This behavior continues to occur until the worker process for Team System Web Access is recycled. Additionally, the Application log on the application tier computer contains a warning event that resembles the following: Event Type: Warning Event Source: ASP.NET 2.0.50727.0 Event Category: Web Event Event ID: 1309 Date: <Date> Time: <Time> User: N/A Computer: <Computer name> Description: Event code: 3005 Event message: An unhandled exception has occurred. Event time: <Date> <Time> Event time (UTC): <Date> <Time> Event ID: 657f24beb9c7499c9a06e7f1c662638c Event sequence: 55269 Event occurrence: 4 Event detail code: 0 CAUSEThis problem occurs because the TFS client object model cannot release old object instances from memory when the model is heavily used by Team System Web Access. Therefore, the model accumulates memory and then crashes. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next update that contains this hotfix.To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Customer Support Services to obtain the hotfix. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, use one of the following methods. Method 1 Use multiple Team System Web Access sites to balance the workload. Method 2 Restart the TSWAPool application pool in Internet Information Services (IIS) manager frequently. Method 3 Clear the Team System Web Access cache folder periodically.
