SYMPTOMS

When you try to change the domain name of an existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM user to another domain user in a trusted domain, you receive the following error message:
The domain name does not exist.

RESOLUTION

This problem is fixed in the latest cumulative update rollup for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.
