Article ID: 975892 - Last Review: October 28, 2009 - Revision: 1.0 Error message when you send a meeting request for a conference call that is hosted in Office Communications Server 2007 R2, Enterprise Edition
SYMPTOMSYou use the Live Meeting Conferencing Add-in for Microsoft Outlook 2007 to schedule a conference call that is hosted in Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 R2, Enterprise Edition. However, when you try to send the meeting request, you receive the following error message: Cannot connect to server because the information in the User Accounts dialog might be incorrect or improperly formatted. Please verify that this information is correct, and then click Test Connection. If you still can't connect, the server might not be available. Note If you save the meeting request and then restart Outlook 2007 after you receive this error message, you can send the saved meeting request as expected. CAUSEThis problem occurs because the OCS 2007 R2, Enterprise Edition uses an incorrect certificate to decrypt the meeting request. This behavior occurs when a session is switched from one front-end server to another front-end server in the OCS 2007 R2, Enterprise Edition server pool. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, apply the following update: 975611
