SYMPTOMS

You install Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) 2007 R2 on a Windows Server 2008 server. However, when you try to use an application that is based on OCS 2007 R2, Unified Communications Managed API 2.0 Core Redist 64-bit, the application crashes.

CAUSE

This issue occurs when you use a Web URL instead of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) for a Centralized Conference Control Protocol conf-info element. In this scenario, the application creates an unhandled exception. This exception causes the application to crash.

RESOLUTION

How to obtain the hotfix
