Desktop sharing and application sharing does not work in conferences when you use Office Communicator Web Access 2007 R2

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Office Communicator Web Access 2007 R2, you cannot share your applications and you cannot share your desktop in conferences that are hosted on Microsoft Office Communications Server 2010 Beta. Additionally, you also cannot view application and desktop sharing from other users in the conferences.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install the following update:

NoteAfter you install this update for Communicator Web Access, you can view application sharing and desktop sharing from a user who is running a Windows-based Office Communicator 2007 R2. Additionally, you can share a desktop in Communicator Web Access. However, you still cannot share an application in Communicator Web Access.
