Consider the following scenario in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009:
This problem occurs because the character encoding set in the XMLNORM.TargetCharSet property on the message context is not applied correctly in the Flat File Assembler.
After you apply this hotfix, the character encoding that you set in the XMLNORM.TargetCharSet property in the message context will be applied correctly in the Flat File Assembler.
Cumulative updated informationFor BizTalk Server 2009, the hotfix that resolves this issue is included in Cumulative Update 1 for BizTalk Server 2009.
