INTRODUCTION

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

  • In Office Excel 2007, when you change the values for an OLE object, the y-axis label is inverted. This issue is specific to Windows Metafile (WMF) format for the OLE object rendering from Office Excel 2007.
  • In Office Excel 2007, after you convert an Excel Workbook that was created in an earlier version of Excel to the .xlsm file format, the number format is changed.
  • You copy a chart from an Office Excel 2007 file and then paste it into another Office Excel 2007 file. Then, you change the data source in the second file. However, the link information in the chart is not updated.
  • When you try to convert embedded chart objects, Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 crashes.
  • Office Excel 2007 takes longer to open one Office Excel Workbook compared with Microsoft Office Excel 2003.
  • Consider the following scenario. In Office Exel 2007, you use the Cut command or click copy on data from a full column or a full row. Then, you try to paste the data from an .xls file to an .xlsx file or from an .xlsx file to an .xls file. In this scenario, the column widths or row heights are not pasted.
  • 976468 The LINEST function in Excel 2007 returns incorrect results for data that contains very small values
