SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a computer that is running Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Windows Server 2008.
  • On this computer, you try to print a Tagged Image File Format (TIFF) file that is in Windows Photo Gallery.
  • In the Print Settings, you set the orientation for the print job to Portrait or Landscape.
In this scenario, the TIFF file is printed in landscape orientation even if you set the orientation to Portrait in the Print Settings. Therefore, the image in the TIFF file may be shrunk to match the size of the landscape format.

  • The first release of Windows Server 2008 contains Service Pack ( SP1). Therefore, RTM milestone files only apply to Windows Vista. RTM milestone files have a 6.0.0000.xxxxxx version number.
  • The MANIFEST files (.manifest) and MUM files (.mum) installed for each environment are listed separately . MUM and MANIFEST files, and the associated security catalog (.cat) files, are critical to maintaining the state of the updated component. The security catalog files (attributes not listed) are signed with a Microsoft digital signature.
