This article describes the Windows SharePoint Services
3.0 issues that are fixed in the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0
hotfix package that is dated December 15, 2009.
When you try to perform a search in a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site, the "This List: Name of list, doclib etc." scope for a list is missing. This issue occurs because https:// is used to visit the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site.
In a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site, after you add an additional choice to the Task Status site column, workflow tasks that have a Task Status of Completed cannot be viewed.
You click Attachment Options in Office Outlook 2007 to create a shared attachment and specify a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site to create a new Document workspace. Then, a Document workspace is created that has unique permissions. These permissions give you full control, and give all recipients Contribute permissions. These recipients receive an e-mail message that includes a link to the new Document workspace. However, that link is redirected from the parent site instead of a being a direct link to the Document workspace. Therefore, when recipients click that link, they receive the following error message:
Error: Access Denied
You develop a custom field type that inherits from the SPFieldLookUp class. You want to store multiple values in a field of that custom field type. Therefore, you set the AllowMultipleValues property to True. However, after you set the AllowMultipleValues property to True, the field type is displayed as Lookup instead of the custom field type.
You edit an alert e-mail message template. You edit the value for a hyperlink field. If the hyperlink field contains no data, the value for the previous item's field is used in the alert email message.
When you upload some files to a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Discussion Board, multiple duplicated discussion items appear unexpectedly.
After you create a calculated column that includes a reference to the hidden ID column in a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 environment, the CPU usage increases to 100%.
You add an additional Date and Time Column in a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Calendar Event. When you edit an All day event item in the Calendar list, the value of that additional Date and Time Column is changed. The standard columns "Start time" and "End time" are not changed.
An alert e-mail message contains an invalid hyperlink to an Office InfoPath form when you enable the "Open as Web page" option for a document library in a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site
The "Show Quoted Messages" and "Hide Quoted Messages" links do not appear in a Discussion Board list in the French version of a Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 site
The Microsoft Office SharePoint Server Enterprise Search service does not full-text index Office Word 2007 template files (.dotx) in Office SharePoint Server 2007
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 cannot crawl a form-based authenticated Web site when an "HTTP 302" error message is received during the authentication session
