INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

The AutoDiscover (Availability Web part on MySite) feature in Office SharePoint Server 2007 is hardcoded to "https://domain.com/AutoDiscover/AutoDiscover.xml." After you install this update, the "https://domain.com/AutoDiscover/AutoDiscover.xml" URL is no longer hardcoded.
If a profile import occurs during the time that domain controllers in a domain are unavailable, the profiles for that domain are marked as "Profiles missing from import." Each of these profiles belong to an account. This behavior causes the MySiteCleanup job to fail in resolving these accounts from that domain. Additionally, these accounts are deleted together with their MySite sites.
You try to set the Target Audiences section in a Web part. When you click Browse in the Target Audiences section and enter search criteria, it takes one to two minutes for the search results to be displayed.
When you use the copy functionality in the "Site Content and Structure" page to copy a site that contains the "Excel Services Web Part" Web part, the Web parts associated document link is not updated to reflect the new location of the copied document.
In an Alternate Access Mapping configured environment, when you approve publishing sites from a public URL, that public URL is diverted to an internal URL. Then, you receive the following error message:
Page cannot be displayed.
You enable BLOB Caching on an Office SharePoint Server 2007 site. Then, you use NTLM authentication on this SharePoint site. When a client sends a GET response with the If-None-Match header, Office SharePoint Server 2007 responds with an "HTTP 304" response and a "Connection: Close" header. This causes two more unnecessary requests for NTLM authentication.
A Date type cell in a .xlsx file is treated as a Number type cell by the IFilter component when the cell to the left of the Date type cell has a style applied but does not contain a value. For example, if you input 1/1/2000 in the Date type cell, the IFilter component displays it as 36526. 36526 is the serial value for 1/1/2000.
The original release of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 and MOSS 2007 Service Pack 2 behave differently when they crawl a .xlsm document. When you search for a .xlsm document in the original release of MOSS 2007, the .xlsm document appears in the Search Results window. However, when you search for the .xlsm document in MOSS 2007 Service Pack 2, the .xlsm document does not appear in the Search Results window.
