In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 environment, consider the following scenario:
Note If User B uses an Office Outlook client that is running in online mode, the When field is not highlighted when User B moves the pointer back to the exception instance.
When the Exchange Server 2007 server processes the exception update, the server does not change the sequence number of the exception instance. If Office Outlook re-processes the exception instance for a later update, Office Outlook cannot determine whether the instance is an update for the exception instance. Therefore, the highlighting is removed from the exception instance.
To fix this problem, apply the following update rollup:
