Then, you try to print or send a fax from Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 or PowerPoint 2007. Office PowerPoint 2003 or PowerPoint 2007 stops responding. However, you can still use other applications. You may encounter this problem when the following condition is true: After you click OK in the Print dialog box in PowerPoint 2003 or PowerPoint 2007, a dialog box appears that prompts you to enter user information for the printer or the fax. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, end the powerpnt.exe process in Task Manager. Then, print the presentation to Microsoft XPS Document Writer (MXDW) or save the presentation as a .pdf file. You can then print or fax the XPS/PDF file using your default XPS/PDF viewer. To end the Powerpnt.exe process, follow these steps: 1. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL. 2. Click Start Task Manager. 3. In Task Manager, click the Processes tab. 4. Click POWERPNT.EXE, and then click End Process. 5. Click End process to end the Powerpnt.exe process. 6. Exit Task Manager.
