INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • You experience one or more of the following issues:
    • When you add non-work administrative time to a timesheet for a period where actual work is reported, the actual work moves to a different date, or the timephased values change to different values. However, the total actual work value remains the same.
    • When you change a resource's base calendar, an assignment's total actual work remains the same. However, the dates on which the actual work appears changes.
    • When you change a resource's calendar, actual work that is reported is re-contoured. For example, you have an assignment that starts on Friday, works 8 hours, and ends on Monday for an additional 8 hours. When you change the resource's calendar to 24 hours per day, the actual work is displayed as 3.17h on Friday, 4.73h on Saturday and on Sunday, and 3.35h on Monday. The total actual work remains the same but the timephased values are shifted around.
Note To resolve these issues, you must apply the hotfix that is described in this article together with the hotfix that is described in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) article 977028.

  • When you copy and paste a duration column to another duration column, all assignment-level actual work changes to zero. The task-level actual work remains unchanged. This issue occurs only when the Restrict Updates to Project Web Access check box is selected in Project Web Access (PWA).
  • Remaining Work is recalculated for some tasks when some actual work is entered in a different task.
  • The Free Slack value is calculated incorrectly for two linked tasks that have Finish No Later Than and Start No Earlier Than constraints.
  • Team Foundation Server cannot add outline codes that are greater than 128 characters.
