SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario:
  • There are spaces in the name of a ClickOnce application that is based on the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 Beta.
  • The application is published on a Web site or on an FTP server.
  • You try to install the application.
In this scenario, the installation process fails.

CAUSE

Spaces in the application name are converted to symbols during the installation process. However, the spaces are converted incorrectly to PLUS SIGN (+) characters instead of to the "%20" character string.
