SYMPTOMS

In a Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment, there is a third-party application that performs operations on messages by using a Collaborative Data Objects (CDO) application. When the third-party application copies properties and attachments from one message to another message, the message body of the new message is inaccessible before all the changes are saved.

Note The issues described in the "Symptoms" section do not occur in Exchange Server 2007.

CAUSE

The property conversion from PR_BODY_HTML to PR_BODY fails because the corresponding process is incorrect in Exchange Server 2010.
