This article describes an update that enables the heap
sentinel feature in Windows Embedded CE 6.0. The heap sentinel feature is a
4-DWORD structure that contains the program counter of function calls for heap
allocation and heap free. This update adds an IMGENABLEHEAPSENTINEL IMG
environment variable for you to customize. When you set this variable, an
lmemhs.lib module that contains the feature is added into the Windows CE-based
OS design. Otherwise, the lmem.lib module without the feature is added when you
unset the variable. By default, the variable is unset.
