Error message when you synchronize data in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 for Microsoft Office Outlook: "An unknown error occurred while synchronizing data to Outlook"

When you try to synchronize data in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 for Microsoft Office Outlook, you receive the following error message:This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:

• You install Update Rollup 7 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 on the computer that is running Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Microsoft Office Outlook.

• You apply a Folder Redirection Group Policy object (GPO) to redirect a Microsoft Dynamics CRM application folder to a network share.

This problem occurs because Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 for Microsoft Office Outlook cannot share .sdf files if the .sdf files are being used by other applications.
