Known issues

After you install this security update, when you use the Sign Tool (SignTool.exe) to sign certain CAB (cabinet) files, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:
SignTool Error: ISignedCode::Sign returned error: 0x8007000B
An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.
SignTool Error: An error occurred while attempting to sign: filname.cab
The error message suggests that the digital signature is not valid.

This is intended functionality that was introduced by security update 979309. This functionality applies more strict requirements for a CAB file to be considered valid.
